Scholarships awarded to 20 students at provincial Social Protection Centre

The Son La provincial Association for Promoting Education on August 27 presented “Cung em den truong” (Together to School) scholarships to students at the provincial Social Protection Centre on the occasion of the 2025-2026 academic year opening.

 

At the ceremony to grant “Cung em den truong” scholarships to students at the provincial Social Protection Centre.

A total of 20 scholarships, each worth 300,000 VND (11.4 USD), were awarded to disadvantaged students currently being cared for and raised at the centre. The scholarships were funded by the To Hieu Scholarship Fund.

The “Cung em den truong” programme, initiated by the provincial Association for Promoting Education, aims to support underprivileged students across Son La province as they begin the new school year. 

This year, the programme will grant 236 scholarships to students from 12 communes and wards, five schools, the provincial Inclusive Education Support Center, and the provincial Social Protection Centre.
