Social policy beneficiaries in Son La receive free medical checkups, medicine

The Vietnam–Laos border friendship military-civilian medical facility under the Long Sap International Border Guard Station offered free medical checkups, consultations, and medicine, along with gifts to 25 policy beneficiary families in Long Sap commune on July 26, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 – 2025).

The programme was to honour policy beneficiaries and contributors to the nation, reflecting Vietnam’s tradition of paying tribute to those who rendered great service.

It also highlighted the role of military medical personnel, local authorities and grassroots health stations in providing quality healthcare for border residents, thereby strengthening military-civilian solidarity and safeguarding the country’s frontiers.
