Some 1.3 km of roads in Muong Lan concreted

Two roads in Pu Hao and Na Khi hamlets of Muong Lan commune, with a total length of over 1.3 km, have been paved with concrete.

In 2025, the commune mobilised local residents to contribute more than 220 million VND (3,850 USD) to purchase construction materials, along with over 130 workdays, and made use of funding from the National Target Programme 1719 on Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas for 2021-2030, as well as hamlet funds sourced from forest environmental service payments for the construction.

The internal road of Pu Hao hamlet is concreted.

Currently, Muong Lan still has three road sections with a combined length of about 1.7 km that have not yet been paved. The commune is working with hamlets to discuss plans and prepare construction solutions to complete the remaining sections in 2026.
