To carry out their tasks, local chapters of the association focused on developing its membership; implementing resolutions and decisions of the Party and the State; effectively mobilising funds; encouraging emulation and commendation; and conducting scientific research. In the first half, the provincial association had 1,200 new members, raising the total number to 380,000, accounting for 29% of the province's population.
Efforts were made to raise funds for the “To Hieu Scholarship Fund,” totalling 2.2 billion VND (84,900 USD). Across the province, 20 professional training courses were held for more than 1,700 grassroots education promotion officials. The association also coordinated with commune-level community learning centres to organise 176 classes on science and technology transfer, digital transformation, and digital literacy, attracting over 17,000 participants. In addition, it awarded 1,070 scholarships and 300 bicycles to poor students with outstanding learning performances at various levels, and excellent teachers.

Speaking at the conference, Cong urged the provincial association to continue advising the national association on developing and amending its charter to align with the two-level local administration system. He also emphasised the continued effective implementation of movements for learning promotion and talent development, building a learning society in the new context, especially focusing on the “Digital Literacy for All” movement, and encouraging educational emulation activities in celebration of the 130th founding anniversary of Son La province (October 10, 1895 – 2025).

Individuals receive certificates of merit from the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education awarded six “For the Cause of Promoting Education” insignias and 19 certificates of merit to outstanding individuals. The provincial association also presented certificates of commendation to four individuals for their excellent achievements in promoting education, fostering talent, and building a learning society.
