More than 200 participants attended the course, where they received updated knowledge on fire prevention, firefighting and rescue regulations, common causes of fires and preventive measures, emergency evacuation and first-aid skills, as well as the operation and use of on-site firefighting equipment.
At the Son La Hydropower Plant, participants practiced extinguishing fires involving gasoline trays and gas cylinders, and took part in a firefighting drill based on a simulated fire incident in the plant's central control building.
The training course aimed to enhance fire safety awareness, improve emergency response skills, and strengthen the operational readiness of the on-site firefighting force, thereby helping ensure the highest level of safety for one of Vietnam's key national hydropower facilities.
