Son La organisations support disadvantaged patients
The provincial Traditional Medicine Hospital, in coordination with the Youth Union of the provincial People's Procuracy, the Youth Union of Son La Newspaper and Radio-Television, Truc Lam Hung Quoc Pagoda, and several charitable organisations and benefactors, on July 15 organised the 24th "Day of Companionship with Patients" programme under the theme "Journey of Love."

The programme featured six "Zero-VND Charity Booths," providing essential goods free of charge to disadvantaged inpatients receiving treatment at the hospital. The donated items included instant noodles, laundry detergent, milk, confectionery, clothing, and other daily necessities, with a total value of over 25 million VND (952 USD).

Muong Chanh commune, in coordination with Tay Bac University, on August 18 organised a workshop themed “Muong Chanh Tourism: Potential, Current Situation and Solutions.” The event was attended by Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Lo Minh Hung; leaders of several provincial departments and agencies, and Phieng Cam, Chieng Mai, Muoi Noi and Binh Thuan communes; as well as scientists, artisans, businesses and cooperatives in the localities.
