Son La police donate computers, gifts to students in Ta Xua

The youth union of the force development division under the provincial Department of Public Security, in coordination with Thao Nguyen ward police, the youth’s and women’s boards of the department, and sponsors, held a programme to present computers to Lang Chieu Secondary School in Ta Xua commune on November 7.

At the event, the working delegation inaugurated and handed over the “Computer Room for Children” project, which includes 10 computers worth over 50 million VND (1,900 USD). The donation provides teachers and students with better access to information technology, supporting teaching and learning in the digital era.

The delegation presents gifts to underprivileged students at Lang Chieu Secondary School.

In addition, the delegation distributed 20 gift packages, 150 winter jackets, 15 blankets, 20 helmets, and various school supplies worth over 90 million VND, helping ease hardships and encourage students in the mountainous area to strive in their study.

Also at the event, police officers incorporated communication activities on traffic safety and school violence prevention. They organised interactive sessions where students took part in law-related quizzes, creating an engaging and practical learning atmosphere.

The activity reflects the dedication and community spirit of Son La’s young police officers, while also marking a meaningful initiative ahead of the upcoming congresses of the youth union and women’s union of the Son La provincial Department of Public Security for the 2025-2030 term.
