Son La city is the first locality in the province to have all hamlet roads concreted. The province aims for 85% of hamlets to have cemented roads by the end of 2025, requiring the completion of an additional 174 road sections as planned.

To date, 227 hamlets have registered to build roads, totaling approximately 682 km with an estimated investment of over nearly 1.46 trillion VND (55.93 million USD). Upon completion, this will increase the total number of hamlets with concreted roads to over 87%.
