Son La speeds up completion of Route 1A

The project to complete Route 1A and develop the Tay Bac Square flower garden, covering the section from Trang Bridge to Route 1A, has entered its final stretch. The project is being carried out to mark the 131st founding anniversary of Son La province.

With construction teams working around the clock, contractors are adding shifts and crews, including overnight work, in an effort to complete the project on schedule.

Son La Urban Environment and Services Joint Stock Company has mobilised machinery and 85 workers, organising multiple shifts to accelerate construction. Teams are focusing on key works including flower beds, land grading, tree planting and landscape improvements.

The project has a total investment of 343 billion VND (13.2 million USD). Compensation has been completed for all 54 affected households, effectively clearing the site and allowing contractors to deploy additional workers and equipment and speed up the remaining work.

The project is expected to play a significant role in improving transport infrastructure and upgrading the landscape in the centre of the province. Alongside the accelerated construction schedule, local authorities are working closely with the project investor and relevant agencies to address outstanding site-clearance issues and other obstacles.

Authorities in To Hieu ward have been closely monitoring construction progress and coordinating with the project investor and relevant agencies to promptly resolve difficulties and bottlenecks.

Contractors have been instructed to ensure construction quality and occupational safety, with the goal of completing the project components before September 30, contributing to the improvement of the urban landscape and transport infrastructure in the provincial centre./.

Landscape improvement works are being rapidly completed.
