The trainees were provided with knowledge on the situation of crimes related to drugs, human trafficking, sexual abuse, and domestic violence against women and children in the province; solutions to preventing and combating crimes and social vices related to women and children; prevention of high-tech crimes and the current situation of cybercrime in the province; basic skills in preventing the harmful effects of alcohol; and the situation of traffic accidents caused by alcohol in the province.

This is one of the activities to promote the implementation of Project 938 on disseminating, educating, mobilising, and supporting women to participate in addressing several social issues related to them for the 2017–2027 period, launched by the Vietnam Women’s Union.

The project aims to enhance knowledge and skills, promote the proactive role of women in responding to and effectively addressing social issues, reduce negative impacts, and contribute to protecting and improving the quality of life for women and children.
