The Deposit Insurance of Vietnam (DIV) is a specialized state financial institution operating on a non-profit basis. It implements the deposit insurance policy in accordance with regulations to protect the legitimate rights and interests of depositors, contribute to maintaining the stability of credit institutions, help people feel secure when depositing money in the banking system, prevent mass withdrawals, and ensure the safe and healthy development of banking activities. 
 

At the event, officials, lecturers and students of Tay Bac University were introduced to the Deposit Insurance of Vietnam and the deposit insurance policy; the rights and obligations of the DIV and depositors; deposit insurance limits; and insurance payments for depositors.

Representatives of the Northwest Regional Branch of the Deposit Insurance of Vietnam engaged in discussions, exchanges and Q&A sessions, helping the university’s officials, lecturers and students to help them gain better understanding of issues related to deposit insurance.
