The total resources mobilised and utilised for these activities were 12.6 times higher than the state budget allocated to the agency.

During the year, the provincial Red Cross Society coordinated with agencies, businesses, and benefactors to distribute 46,368 gift packages under the “Tet of Humanity” programme; built semi-boarding kitchens at school sites; provided thousands of warm clothes, gifts, and water purifiers to students and disadvantaged households during the “Humanitarian Month”.

It also supported livelihoods for households affected by natural disasters; and mobilized more than 1.3 billion VND in support of the Cuban people.

In addition, it organised 12 communication campaigns on voluntary blood donation, attracting over 12,500 participants; and coordinated in providing free medical check-ups and medicine for 1,464 poor and elderly people.

These activities helped spread the spirit of compassion and contributed effectively to social welfare efforts.
