Training conference enhances capacity in agricultural economic development, new-style rural construction

The provincial Farmers’ Union on November 24 organised a training conference aimed at improving capacity and shifting awareness and mindset among local residents and communities regarding agricultural economic development and new-style rural construction.

The workshop brought together 170 participants, including representatives of farmers’ associations from communes and wards, exemplary production and business households, and representatives of cooperatives across the province.

During the conference, trainees were introduced to key topics such as producing agricultural goods according to market mechanisms; developing multi-value and circular agriculture; applying digital transformation in agriculture; linking production and business along value chains and organising agricultural product consumption; and methods of economic accounting in agriculture.

Throughout the training, lecturers and participants engaged in direct discussions, sharing practical experience and proposing various solutions to promote agricultural economic development and improve the effectiveness of the new-style rural development programme.

The workshop aimed to equip association officers, production and business households, and cooperatives with essential knowledge for developing green, sustainable agricultural production aligned with market trends and new rural construction, thereby contributing to the province’s socio-economic development.
