Training conference on ethnic, religious affairs held in Son La

The provincial Department of Ethnic and Religious Affairs on July 15 held a training conference on ethnic and religious affairs in Son La province.

The event saw the attendance of representatives from the department, along with 75 officials in charge of ethnic and religious affairs from communes and wards across the province.

Participants received updates on ethnic policy programmes underway in the province, along with training on state management of belief and religious affairs, and guidance on preparing report content, standardised templates, and timelines for periodic reporting in accordance with regulations.

They were equipped with knowledge and skills related to ethnic and religious affairs to enhance implementation effectiveness amid the reorganisation of commune-level administrative units and the adoption of a two-tier government model.

The event also addressed policy-related concerns and resolved issues faced by communes and villages following administrative mergers, contributing to improved quality and effectiveness of the ethnic and religious work.
