The Moc Chau tunnel brick factory, operated by Son La Building Materials JSC No. 1, has produced 9 million bricks so far this year, creating stable employment for nearly 80 workers, with an average monthly salary ranging from 7–8 million VND (275–315 USD).
In recent years, Son La province has taken various forms of support to help local workers go abroad for employment under contract. These efforts have marked a breakthrough in labor and employment, contributing significantly to improving people’s livelihoods.

The forum was attended by leaders of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organisation’s chapters, and nearly 500 members, teenagers and children from local primary and secondary schools.

The Son La provincial Red Cross Society on May 16 coordinated with several units in Thuan Chau district to organise health check-ups and consultations and provide free medicine for 250 people from poor and near-poor households, policy families, people with meritorious services to the revolution, and victims of Agent Orange in Chieng La commune.
The provincial Red Cross Society, in coordination with the Son La Foodbank Club and the Thuan Chau district Red Cross Society, on May 15 organised a humanitarian market in Chieng Pha commune under the theme “Humanitarian Journey – Spreading Love.”
The People's Committee of Moc Chau township on May 15 held the Job Fair 2025 . The event, the eighth of its kind, attracted the participation of 30 enterprises and employers, along with more than 1,500 workers, youth union members, young people, and students from local secondary and high schools.

The provincial Veterans Association, in collaboration with the Vietnam Friendship Village and Military Hospital 103, on May 10 organised free medical examinations, medication distribution, cardiovascular disease and cancer screening for approximately 200 people from poor households, policy beneficiary families, and members of the Veterans Association in Xim Vang commune, Bac Yen district.
