The Moc Chau tunnel brick factory, operated by Son La Building Materials JSC No. 1, has produced 9 million bricks so far this year, creating stable employment for nearly 80 workers, with an average monthly salary ranging from 7–8 million VND (275–315 USD).
In recent years, Son La province has taken various forms of support to help local workers go abroad for employment under contract. These efforts have marked a breakthrough in labor and employment, contributing significantly to improving people’s livelihoods.

The provincial centre for youth activities organised a forum themed “Son La children compete to follow Uncle Ho's Five Teachings” in Song Ma district, on May 19.
