Moc Chau township organizes the Job Fair 2025.
With the goal of increasing the number of labourers working abroad, in 2025, the province aims to send 200 local workers overseas under contracts. To achieve this, it is effectively implementing support policies for initial costs such as vocational training, foreign language instruction, essential skills training, passport and visa application fees, health check-ups, and criminal record verification. In addition, workers may access loans from the National Employment Fund or the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies in accordance with current regulations.
Provincial departments, sectors, and district-level People's Committees are actively coordinating with companies and enterprises to promote awareness, provide counseling and career guidance, offer vocational training, and facilitate the overseas employment process for workers.
Currently, the Department of Home Affairs has reviewed the legal documents and introduced 17 licensed companies and enterprises to district- and city-level authorities to coordinate efforts. These companies are authorized to recruit, consult, and send Vietnamese workers abroad, and they have so far facilitated the overseas employment of 173 workers from Son La to countries and territories like Taiwan, Japan, and the Republic of Korea.
Mua Thi Sinh, Vice Chairwoman of the Muong La district People's Committee, shared: “The district has actively partnered with reputable labour export companies to strengthen communication efforts, helping people fully understand the benefits and support policies of the overseas labour programme. Since the beginning of the year, 16 workers from our district have gone abroad to work, and 27 more are currently undergoing Japanese language training in preparation for future employment opportunities in Japan.”

In Son La province, several companies including Viet Thang International Development Corporation; Tourist, Trade and Labour Export JSC (TTLC); Tin Phat International Education Investment Cooperation JSC, and Vietnam Manpower and Construction JSC are actively coordinating with local authorities to conduct awareness campaigns, provide consultations, and organise vocational and language training classes for workers seeking overseas employment in various industries.
Hoang Thach Hao Quang, Deputy General Director of TTLC, said that since April, the company has held career orientation and overseas employment counseling seminars in several districts, including Thuan Chau, Song Ma, Muong La, Sop Cop, and Quynh Nhai, attracting over 700 participants. As a result, 55 individuals have registered to work abroad, primarily in garment manufacturing and electronic component assembly.
Currently, TTLC is operating two Japanese language classes (4–6 months long) in Song Ma and Muong La districts, with plans to open another in Quynh Nhai. After completing language training, participants will receive technical and skills training in preparation for work placements in Japan.
One such participant is Lo Thi Cuong, from Khua Vai hamlet, Ngoc Chien commune, who registered to work in Japan after receiving support from TTLC. She shared:
"After TTLC representatives visited our commune to provide job counseling, and with the enthusiastic support from local authorities and relevant agencies, I completed my application and prepare for employment in Japan."
At a working session with several departments, sectors, and units involved in sending workers from Son La province to work abroad under contract in 2025,
Dang Ngoc Hau, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, directed all levels of government, relevant agencies, mass organisations, and local authorities to strengthen coordination, promote awareness, and encourage public participation in overseas employment programmes.
He emphasised the importance of ensuring that credit policies for contracted overseas workers are implemented in compliance with regulations. Authorities should also support workers with paperwork, loan application procedures, and timely disbursement of funds to enable them to take up employment opportunities abroad.
Thanks to the active involvement of authorities at all levels, sectors, and localities, the initiative to send workers abroad continues to achieve positive results, contributing to job creation and improved income for local people.
