Yen Chau launches tree-planting festival

Yen Chau commune on February 23 held a ceremony to launch a tree-planting festival themed “Forever grateful to Uncle Ho,” celebrating Spring 2026.

Following the teaching of President Ho Chi Minh: “For the benefit of ten years, we must plant trees; for the benefit of a hundred years, we must cultivate people,” in recent years, Yen Chau commune has actively promoted forest protection and development, as well as tree planting, contributing to environmental protection.

During the tree planting and afforestation festival 2026, the commune aims to plant nearly 1,000 various types of trees.

The launching ceremony helps spread the tree-planting and afforestation movement across Yen Chau commune.
Officials, civil servants, and public employees of Yen Chau commune participate in planting trees along National Highway 6 in Sub-area 6.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, delegates participated in tree planting activities in the Ba Vang hamlet and Sub-area 6.

The activity took place in an enthusiastic and joyful atmosphere, creating a vibrant spirit of emulation at the beginning of the new spring, contributing to building a green, clean, and beautiful landscape, promoting socio-economic development, and protecting the local environment.
