Representatives of the Thuan Chau commune Youth Union present certificates of merit from the provincial Children’s Council to students Tong Van Khac Huy and Luong Hai Nam, from Bo hamlet, Thuan Chau commune, for rescuing a child from drowning.

Earlier, on July 25, at Nong Hoi Lake in Thuan Chau commune, a young child accidentally slipped and fell into deep water. Upon noticing the incident, Huy, from Bo hamlet, quickly used a sliding board to help the child hold on and stay afloat.

At the same time, Nam immediately shouted for help and alerted nearby adults to come to the rescue. Thanks to the two students' calm response, effective coordination, and the timely assistance of local residents, the child was safely brought back to shore.

Tong Van Khac Huy and Luong Hai Nam recount how they acted quickly to save the child at Nong Hoi Lake.

The courageous and resourceful actions of Huy and Nam deserve high praise. Their example helps promote kindness and community spirit while encouraging children and young people to help others and develop essential self-protection and life-saving skills.
