Van Ho has over 70% of households recognised as cultural families

As part of the movement to build a cultural life in residential areas, Van Ho commune has strengthened its efforts to raise awareness and encourage officials, Party members, and locals to strive for the titles of cultural family, cultural hamlet, and institution that meets cultural standards, all linked to the building of new-style rural areas.

The commune has actively participated in social misconduct prevention, eliminated many outdated customs, and promoted a civilised lifestyle within the community.

In 2025, the commune recognised 3,596 cultural families, accounting for 70.1% of the total number of households. Eighteen out of 36 hamlets and sub-zones were named "Cultural Hamlet" or "Cultural Sub-zone." All hamlets and sub-zones have cultural houses and active art troupes, meeting the spiritual needs of the people and supporting tourism development.
