Various meaningful activities held to mark President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday

The Youth Union of To Hieu ward, in coordination with the ward Women’s Union, on May 19 organised a series of activities to mark the 136th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 – 2026).

 

At the ceremony to inaugurate a youth project and launch the “Digital Branch” and “Digital Family” models in Group 1, Chieng Le area, To Hieu ward.

At the event, participating units inaugurated the youth project “Digital Knowledge House - Community Digital Library” and launched the “Digital Branch” and “Digital Family” models at the Women’s Union chapter of Group 1, Chieng Le area. The organisers also presented six gifts, each worth 300,000 VND (11 USD), to disadvantaged students.

Delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate the youth project “Digital Knowledge House - Community Digital Library.”

The “Digital Knowledge House - Community Digital Library” project is developed on the Google Sites platform with a user-friendly interface and integrated QR codes for convenient public access.

The ward Youth Union has collected and digitised more than 500 titles across various fields, including Party documents, history, law, children’s books, life skills and ethnic culture. The digital library will be updated with new materials on a monthly basis and gradually expanded to all 49 residential groups in the ward.

The “Digital Branch” and “Digital Family” models are launched in Group 1, Chieng Le area.

Representatives of participating units present gifts to disadvantaged students.

The “Digital Branch” and “Digital Family” models in Group 1, Chieng Le area have attracted the participation of 70 members.

They focus on raising awareness and guiding members in the use of digital utilities such as cashless payment services, the VNeID electronic identification account, the “Digital Citizen” application and the “Digital Front” platform.

They also provide support in installing applications, registering digital accounts, addressing difficulties encountered while using technology platforms, and updating members’ digital knowledge and skills.
