Voluntary Blood Donation Day launched in Moc Chau ward

The provincial Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation, in collaboration with the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, organised a Voluntary Blood Donation Day in Moc Chau ward on September 24.

A large number of officials and local residents register to donate blood at the event.
Pre-donation health screenings are conducted before blood collection.

With the message "Donate blood to save lives – donate regularly", the blood donation day attracted 845 participants, including government officials, civil servants, public employees, teachers, armed forces personnel, youth union members, workers, and residents from Moc Chau, Moc Son, Thao Nguyen, Van Son wards, and the communes of Doan Ket, Tan Yen, Long Sap, and Chieng Son.

The provincial Red Cross Society encourages blood donors.

During the event, the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion collected over 758 units of blood. This blood volume will be distributed to healthcare facilities to ensure adequate supply for emergency care and treatment of patients.
