Volunteer programme brings warm Tet to Muong Sai residents

The standing board of the Son La Youth Union, together with the Youth Unions of Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited and the Ministry of Finance, on January 24 organised a volunteer programme at Muong Sai Primary and Secondary School in Muong Sai commune.

The delegation presents scholarships to disadvantaged students at Muong Sai Primary and Secondary School in Muong Sai commune.

At the event, the delegation presented 619 winter uniforms to students, 50 scholarships to disadvantaged students at Muong Sai Primary and Secondary School, and 21 gift packages to policy beneficiary families and those with meritorious service to the revolution in the commune.

The delegation also visited and presented Lunar New Year gifts to families of outstanding young workers in the locality who are currently employed at units under the group. The programme was valued at more than 200 million VND (7.652 USD)

The activities underscored the pioneering and volunteer spirit of youth union officials and members, reflecting a strong sense of solidarity and mutual support, while contributing to social welfare efforts and providing assistance to children and residents in especially disadvantaged areas.
