Workers with vocational training make up 61.4%

Since 2021, Son La province has organised training for over 68,000 workers at various levels, with many programmes to enhance knowledge and skills in areas such as digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and big data. This has helped raise the proportion of workers with vocational training to 61.4% of the total workforce.

Localities have provided information and introduced employment and vocational training opportunities to 740,496 workers. More than 83,000 workers have found employment, including 835 workers successfully connected with overseas job opportunities under contracts. The proportion of workers in agriculture, forestry, and fisheries accounts for 61.9% of the total workforce.

Departments, sectors, and localities in the province have implemented synchronous solutions to improve the quality of human resources, aligning training with labour market needs and the requirements of digital transformation.
