Youth Union of provincial Party Agencies pays tribute to fallen heroes

The Youth Union of the provincial Party Agencies on July 26 offered incense in memory of fallen heroes at the Son La Prison Martyrs' Cemetery on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 – 2026).

More than 30 Youth Union members from several provincial agencies participated in the event, including the provincial People's Procuracy, the provincial People's Court, Son La Newspaper and Radio-Television, the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and the provincial School of Politics.

In a solemn atmosphere, participants respectfully offered incense and observed a moment of silence to express their profound gratitude to the fallen heroes who sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation and safeguarding.

Following the incense-offering ceremony, Youth Union members took part in cleaning and beautifying the grounds of the Son La Prison Martyrs' Cemetery in response to the Green Sunday campaign. The activity contributed to preserving the site's landscape and environment while promoting Vietnam's tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source”.
