The delegation was welcomed at the Ban Dan border gate in Muang Et district, Houaphanh province, by a provincial delegation led by Bunvisay Kongphany, member of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board and Vice Chairman of the provincial Administration Committee.

During the visit, the Son La delegation is scheduled to meet with Houaphanh leaders to exchange views on socio-economic development and cooperation between the two localities. They will also visit Phan La High School, a symbolic project reflecting the special friendship and solidarity between the two provinces.

The visit is expected to further strengthen traditional friendship, deepen mutual trust and ties, and promote comprehensive cooperation between Son La and Houaphanh, helping nurture the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos./.
