Joining the delegation were Nguyen Viet Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Son La provincial People's Council, and representatives of several provincial departments and agencies.

Following the visits, Phoikham praised Son La's dynamism, creativeness and effectiveness in developing high-tech and clean agriculture linked to ecotourism.
He expressed his hope that Son La would continue to strengthen exchanges and share practical experience, while supporting the transfer of scientific and technological advances and crop varieties to help localities in Xaysomboun apply them effectively. These efforts, he said, would further strengthen the special friendship and solidarity between the two provinces.
Earlier, the Xaysomboun delegation, together with those from Xieng Khouang and Houaphanh provinces, visited a high-quality custard apple cultivation model operated by Me Lech Cooperative in Mai Son commune./.
