Ta Xua was just named Asia’s Leading Emerging Tourism Destination and has now been nominated in the World’s Leading Emerging Tourism Destination category at the World Travel Awards 2026.

This is a source of pride for local authorities and residents, while underscoring Ta Xua’s appeal through its natural landscapes, distinctive cultural identity and people.

The communal People’s Committee has called on agencies and units to step up public outreach and encourage officials, civil servants, public employees, workers and visitors to cast their votes.

Accommodation providers, homestays, restaurants and tourist attractions have been asked to facilitate voting, while QR codes will be made available at four key locations: the Dinosaur Spine, the Grassland, the Cultural Village and the cloud-hunting site.

The campaign will focus on improving service quality and positioning Ta Xua as a civilised, welcoming and professional tourism destination. Voting is scheduled to open on October 24 and close on October 30./.
