Van Ho district boasts 78 active cooperatives

Currently, Van Ho district has 78 cooperatives with a total of 775 members, most of which operate in the agricultural sector.

The district regularly organises training sessions, transfers technical advancements, and facilitates the participation of cooperatives in promotional events aimed at boosting agricultural product consumption and export.

In coordination with the Fruit and Vegetable Research Institute and the Vietnam Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the district is implementing a project to develop branding, trademarks, and geographical indications for local products such as longan, mango, and orange from the communes of Chieng Xuan, Suoi Bang, Chieng Khoa, and To Mua; and tangerine from Chieng Yen commune.

Currently, the average annual revenue of local cooperatives exceeds 9.8 billion VND (378,050 USD), with the average monthly income of members and workers reaching 5.9 million VND.
