Mass art festival held for fire prevention and rescue police forces

The provincial Department of Public Security’s Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Division held a mass art festival for fire prevention and rescue police officers at the provincial Cultural and Sports Centre on September 30 and October 1.

More than 300 performers from nine mass art troupes representing the advisory division and regional fire prevention and rescue teams took part in the festival, presenting 45 performances in a variety of genres, including singing, dancing and instrumental music.

The performances praised the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh, as well as love for the country and Son La in partcular. They also highlighted the achievements and quiet sacrifices of the forces.

The troupes delivered well-prepared and engaging performances, featuring strong artistic quality, creative use of instruments, props and costumes, and a high level of professionalism.

The organising committee awarded the first prize to the troupe of Firefighting and Rescue Team Region 1, along with two second prizes and six third prizes, as well as A, B and C prizes for outstanding performances.
