Event celebrates HCM Communist Youth Union’s founding anniversary

The provincial Youth Union, in collaboration with sponsors, organised an event titled "Proud of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union – Preserving Heritage, Aspiring to Reach Far" at the Elite Hill Son La Urban Area on March 22-23.

The event attracted nearly 1,000 members of commune and ward youth unions, and affiliated organisations under the provincial Youth Union, with many meaningful and practical activities to celebrate the 94th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - 2025).

Kicking off the series of activities at the event was the puzzle-solving competition “The journey following Uncle Ho’s footsteps,” with four teams participating, each consisting of six members. The teams demonstrated their knowledge by answering questions related to the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh, the history of the HCM Communist Youth Union, and others.

As part of the event, there were engaging activities such as a camp with the theme "Youth of Son La city proudly follow the Party," job counseling, painting sessions, and traditional games. These activities provided a valuable and healthy playground for young people, while also enhancing the effectiveness of youth mobilisation efforts.

The teams display, introduce, and promote local economic, cultural, and tourism products at the camp.
The provincial Employment Service Center provides career counseling for the youth.

The highlight of the event was a music night themed "Aspiration of Son La city’s Youth" and an ethnic costume show. The carefully choreographed performances, combining traditional and modern music, created a lively and vibrant atmosphere, igniting the youthful spirit and leaving a strong impression on youth union members and young people.
