The rapporteurs, who are officers from the Criminal Police Division and the Drug Crime Investigation Police Division under the Department of Public Security, and the provincial Veterans' Association, presented three key topics: combating human trafficking and prostitution, drug prevention and control, and the responsibilities of Veterans' Associations at all levels and their members in the fight.

The training helped participants understand the tactics used by criminals and drug offenders, the responsibilities of veterans' associations in crime combat; and how to coordinate with other organisations, advise Party Committees, local authorities, and relevant agencies in directing and implementing drug prevention measures.

It also covered supporting drug addicts with rehabilitation, post-rehabilitation management, and job creation for those who have completed drug treatment.

At the same time, the programme raised awareness and encouraged association officials and members to actively participate in the “All People Protect National Security” movement at the grassroots level.
