Since the beginning of the year, the Red Cross Societies at all levels across Son La province have received support and resources from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, as well as donations from organisations and philanthropists both within and outside the province. The total value of cash, goods, and essential supplies donated has exceeded 22.7 billion VND (873,749 USD).

 

Using these mobilised resources, the all-level Red Cross Societies have organised visits and distributed over 50,200 gift packages to poor and near-poor households, policy beneficiaries, and families affected by floods in the districts of Thuan Chau, Mai Son, Song Ma, Phu Yen, Bac Yen, Van Ho and Muong La; Moc Chau township; and Son La city.
