Project benefits children in Van Ho district

A delegation of the “Raising Moc Chau children” project of the provincial Department of Public Security on October 3 had a working session with Van Ho district’s Division of Education and Training over the project implementation in the locality.

 

At the meeting on the implementation of the “Raising Moc Chau children” project in Van Ho district. 

In the 2023-2024 academic year, the youth union of the provincial Department of Public Security in coordination with the district Division of Education and Training launched the project, and provided meal services at seven kindergartens with 965 children.

Under the project, over 1.2 billion VND (48,465 USD) was earmarked to cover meal expenses, purchase kitchen equipment for boarding schools, and present 965 warm jackets to children, and 11 water purifiers to the schools.

In 2024-2025, joint efforts will continue, targeting 931 children at six kindergartens in the district. Each kid is given with a lunch worth 6,800 VND for a maximum of five days per week.

The working delegation of the project provides funding to Van Ho district. 

On this occasion, the working delegation of the project provided over 1.3 billion VND to cover lunch expenses, along with one set of television, and a cooker worth 5.8 million VND to Pa Cop Kindergarten in Van Ho commune.
