Participants reviewed the history of the traditional day of Vietnamese students and the VSA. They called on all students of the university to "study and follow Uncle Ho's teachings" and continue to strive to become "5-good students" (good ethics, good study, good physical strength, good volunteer spirit and good integration), forming a new generation of the country's youth with great aspirations and ambitions.

At the programme, the students’ association of the university awarded the "5-Good Student" title in 2023 to 161 students and certificates of merit to 89 students with excellent academic achievements in the 2022-2023 school year. A music festival entitled "Proud of Tay Bac University’s students" was also held.
