Provincial Military Command hosts Book and Reading Culture Day

The Son La Provincial Military Command on April 18 organised a Book and Reading Culture Day themed “Books on the Great Spring 1975 Victory – The Power of National Solidarity, the Aspiration for Peace and National Independence, and the Will for Reunification.”

 

The Son La Provincial Military Command organises the Book and Reading Culture Day. 

The event featured a display of nearly 100 notable titles published by the People's Army Publishing House. Among those are “The Great Spring 1975 Victory – The Power of National Unity in the Ho Chi Minh Era,” “Memoirs of Saigon Generals,” “The Ho Chi Minh Campaign – Liberation of the South and National Reunification,” “David Camp – 823 Days and Nights,” and “The Anti-American Belt in Military Region 5 Battlefield – A Creative Tactic of Vietnam's People’s War.” Additionally, several books on President Ho Chi Minh and General Vo Nguyen Giap were introduced, along with “From the Ben Hai River to the Independence Palace” by Major General Hoang Dan.

The event also introduced new and recommended titles from the provincial Military Command’s library, encouraging officers and soldiers to study and expand their knowledge, enrich their cultural and spiritual lives, and contribute to fulfilling their assigned duties effectively.
