Pung Banh commune’s youth join hands in new-style rural area building

The Youth Union of Pung Banh commune, Sop Cop district, has regularly organised "Volunteering Saturday" and "Green Sunday", as part of efforts in building new-style rural areas.

 

The Youth Union of Pung Banh commune, Sop Cop district, unveil the plaque for a youth-managed road in Co hamlet. 

Currently, the commune Youth Union maintains one youth-run craft village, two youth nursery projects with coffee and pine seedlings, and 10 youth-managed roads.

Over the past four months, nearly 200 youth members helped two families eliminate temporary housing, cleaned 5 km of rural roads and community houses, dug six mini trash pits, and installed 10 solar-powered lights in Pha Thong and Pum Cuom hamlets.
