Son La Newspaper hands over house construction funding, youth works in Pat hamlet

On September 26, Son La Newspaper coordinated with Bo Sinh commune in Song Ma district to hand over 20 million VND (820 USD), donated by Dong Nai Newspaper, to Luong Van Sua's family in Pat hamlet to help him build a house.

Sua, whose parents died early, is living with his brother's family in difficult circumstance. Sua and his wife do not have stable jobs. The delegation visited his family and handed over 20 million VND donated by officials and staff of Dong Nai Newspaper, to help him have a solid house and stabilise life.

On this occasion, the Son La Newspaper’s youth union coordinated with its counterpart in Bo Sinh commune to hand over a concrete road and yard to the Pat hamlet facility of Hoa Phuong Do kindergarten.

The youth work project includes a 60m long, 3m wide concrete road and a 50sq.m playground, with a total cost of more than 40 million VND (1,640 USD), supported by Son La Newspaper, BIDV Bank - Son La branch and Quynh Ngoc Joint Stock Company. Bo Sinh commune’s youth union also persuaded two local households to donate land and workdays to build the works.
