The sub-department has also instructed district forest rangers and relevant agencies to coordinate with grassroots authorities to step up the communications work and encourage residents to raise awareness and responsibility for forest protection and wildfire fighting in tandem with the implementation of the programme on sustainable forestry development.

In the year, competent forces have organised 914 communication sessions in communes and hamlets, with 71,600 people participating and committing to joining these efforts.
