Currently, approximately 78% of young people in the province have access to digital capacity-building activities organised by local youth unions and associations; 67% use online public services; and 83% use electronic payment accounts. More than 4,000 volunteers are working directly on the ground and will play a key role in the implementation of the "Digital Literacy for All" campaign. This initiative aims to promote the enthusiasm and energy of the youth to spread basic knowledge about digital transformation and support the improvement of digital skills for young people and the general public.
At the event, the provincial Youth Union presented 500 "Free AI Learning" scholarships, valued at 1 billion VND (39,100 USD), provided by Hanoi-based Information Retrieval Technology Joint Stock Company to local youth organisations. Additionally, volunteer teams conducted outreach and assisted the public in using online public services such as applying for driver's license renewal, health insurance, and criminal background verification, as well as guiding people on how to prevent high-tech and online scams.
