Van Ho district responds to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day
The provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the People's Committee of Van Ho district to organise a programme in response to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day (April 21) and World Book and Copyright Day (April 23), and launch the 2024 lifelong learning week, at the Van Ho Secondary School on April 12.
The “Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day” programme is held at the Van Ho Secondary School.
The programme attracted more than 1,000 teachers and students from schools in Van Ho district, who engaged in culture and art exchanges, and a book arrangement competition, and the "Ring the Golden Bell" contest. It also featured a display of books, and the “library on wheels” model.

Up to 400 book titles were displayed and introduced on this occasion, including those on Uncle Ho, and history, culture and comic books.

Nam Lau is a commune with significant advantages for agricultural development, in which coffee has been identified as a key crop helping local people escape poverty. The commune has nearly 3,000 households, of which about 85% cultivate coffee, with a total area of more than 1,770 hectares.
