Workers’ Month, Action Month for Occupational Safety and Health 2025 launched

The Son La Federation of Labour on April 26 held the launch ceremony for “Workers’ Month and Action Month for Occupational Safety and Health 2025.”

With the theme “Vietnamese Workers Pioneering into a New Era,” the Son La Federation of Labour called upon all trade union members and workers to strictly adhere to laws regarding occupational safety and health. The trade union at all levels, in collaboration with the authorities, agencies, units, and businesses, emphasised the sense of responsibility, active participation, and the highest effectiveness. The campaign also promoted patriotic emulation, setting good examples in labour, production, work, and study, contributing to the successful implementation of the province’s socio-economic development tasks together with the Party, government, and the people.

In response to Workers’ Month and Action Month for Occupational Safety and Health, trade unions at all levels organised many practical activities for workers, such as visiting and presenting gifts to workers in difficult circumstances, workers suffering from work-related accidents or occupational diseases, supporting the construction of trade union houses, organising “Creative Labour Day,” and honouring outstanding workers with achievements in labour, production, and high performance in skilled worker competitions.

As part of the activities for Workers’ Month and Action Month for Occupational Safety and Health 2025, the Son La Federation of Labour organised the online contest “Workers, Civil Servants, and Laborers Learn About Occupational Safety and Health”, which will run from April 26 to May 16.

On this occasion, the Son La Federation of Labor provided “Trade Union Houses” to 14 union members and workers in difficult circumstances, with a total support amount of 680 million VND (26,132 USD), sourced from the “Support Fund for Trade Union Members and Workers of Son La.”
