The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Son La province (VFF Son La) on September 19 organized a ceremony to receive aid from the Vietnam Rubber Group (VRG) to fix the consequences of typhoons Prapiroon and Yagi. As of September 11 afternoon, 1,500 “it uoi” cakes, made from sticky rice flour, filled with pork and onions or green beans, and 500 ‘banh chung’ (square glutinous rice cakes) had been wrapped to delivered to flood-hit victims.
