As an extremely difficult commune in Thuan Chau district, Muong E has a high percentage of poor and near-poor households. In recent years, the communal Party Committee and authorities have directed residents to focus on transforming the crop structure. Of which, intercropping macadamia with tea and coffee is a new direction in local economic development.
