It has also instructed the acceleration of the construction of anti-flooding works and arranged funds to speed up the progress of site clearance for building anti-flooding works in Group 1, Quyet Thang ward; Group 11, Quyet Tam ward; Bo An hamlet, Chieng Coi ward; and flood drainage facilities in Group 5 and Group 6, Quyet Tam ward.

At the same time, the committee has coordinated with provincial departments and agencies to implement the 1.5km-long Chieng Sinh - Nam La flood drainage project at a total cost of 80 billion VND (3.3 million USD) in the 2022-2024 period; and a similar project in Giang village, Chieng Den commune. It has also proposed investment policy for a project to dredge the Nam La stream.
