The green-skinned ‘Tuong’ mango tree has become an integral part of life for the people of Song Ma district for many years. The fruit is sold both domestically and internationally, providing a stable source of income for local residents. Around this time of year, households are focusing on caring for the trees to ensure a bountiful harvest.
To increase the value of agricultural products, Son La province is focusing on building linkages across the entire chain, from production to processing and consumption. This is a strategic move aimed at promoting sustainable and efficient agricultural development, increasing farmers’ incomes, and boosting local socio-economic growth.
