Son La province develops 308 safe food supply chains

In 2024, the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development issued 27 certificates for safe food supply chains, bringing the total number of such chains in Son La province to 308.

Safe agricultural products are displayed at an event in Son La province.


These include 44 for vegetables, 188 for fruits, five for coffee, 11 for tea, three for rice, five for pork, three for chicken, seven for honey, 21 for aquatic products, 15 for agricultural and seafood product processing, three for smoked meat, two for agricultural product trading, and one for cordyceps.

Son La is focusing on producing a diverse range of agricultural products that meet quality and food safety standards to serve local, national, and export markets. The goal is to raise the number of safe food supply chains to 327 by the end of 2025.
