Son La province has eight high-tech agricultural production zones

In 2024, Son La province continues to restructure its agricultural sector, and promote the application of science and technology, and high technology in production, thus contributing to increasing productivity, quality, value, and competitiveness of products.

It also focuses on developing raw material areas, associated with the construction of agricultural and food processing factories for export, creating jobs, and increasing income for people.

At present, the province has eight high-tech agricultural production zones; 288 safe food supply chains; 29 agricultural and aquatic products granted protection certificates by the Intellectual Property Office of Vietnam and two products granted protection certificates abroad. In addition, it has six agricultural cooperative alliances, 881 agricultural cooperatives, 26 cooperative groups, and 250 farms.
