"Listen to what children say" dialogue held

The Standing Board of the provincial Women's Union on December 10 coordinated with the Bo Sinh Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities in Song Ma district to organise a dialogue between children, school administrators, local authorities and parents with the theme "Listen to what children say".

At the event, participants watched a report on changing perceptions from the "Leaders of Change" Club, conveying information about issues directly affecting children today, especially those in ethnic minority areas, through real-life situational skits.

The "Leaders of Change" Club is one of the four basic models of Project 8 "Implementing gender equality and solving urgent issues for women and children" under the National Target Programme on Socio-economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas for the 2021-2030 period. Since 2023, Son La province has established 72 leader clubs, with 1,285 participants, and organised nine training courses on capacity building, attracting 396 participants, and 96 discussions, with 2,663 participants.

Through such activities, students in disadvantageous and ethnic minority areas in the province have more knowledge about age psychology, gender, and communication skills in family and school.
