Over 2,000 athletes participate in "Running for Youth" 2025

The Students Association of Tay Bac University on May 17 organised the "Running for Youth" 2025 to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh and the 24th Party Congress of Tay Bac University for the 2025–2030 term.

The event attracted more than 2,000 participants, including university lecturers, students, and members of the R26 Club in Son La city. Among them were 1,400 female and over 600 male runners. Women ran a 2.5 km distance, while men ran 5 km. The racecourse was set within the university campus.

The event provided a healthy and meaningful playground for students, promoting the habit of physical exercise. It also responded to the nationwide movements "Each student practices a sport" and "10,000 steps for health each day" launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Students' Association.

The organising board presents prizes to the male runners.

The organisers awarded two first prizes, four second prizes, four third prizes, seven consolation prizes, and one inspirational award for a student with disabilities currently studying at the university.
